About this artwork
In this work, I used acrylic, charcoal, and chalk to create a dynamic tension between structure and lightness. The abstract forms speak of movement and tranquility at the same time. It brings a subtle energy into the space that invites reflection and dreaming. The soft earth tones combine with the bold lines to create a harmonious balance that fills any room with depth and expression.

Sigrid Koller, a painter, uses media such as marble dust, ash, chalk, sand, and high-quality inks. In her work, she layers color and material to create depth and insights, inspired by aging buildings and peeling layers of paint. Her reduced color palette and frequent use of white evoke a sense of contemplation and stillness, suggesting a striving for reduction to the essential.
