I am a Latvian painter working in oil and watercolor, creating quiet, atmospheric works shaped by tonal nuance, layered transparency, and the subtle movement of light. My practice is grounded in formal training at the Art Academy of Latvia and further studies in France.

I paint only when there is an inner necessity - each work begins with an emotion, a shift in perception, or a moment that asks to be translated into tone and atmosphere. This intention defines my process: every transition of light is considered, every layer built patiently, every composition shaped to hold a sense of calm.

My imagery moves between nature and the human figure, exploring how both carry quiet emotional states. Through soft tonal shifts and transparent washes, I aim to create spaces of harmony and stillness - paintings that invite viewers into a gentle, contemplative mood, where perception slows and the essential becomes visible.
