About this artwork
In 2015, I spent my vacation in Crete and discovered Elafonisi beach on a day trip. I was so impressed by its vibrant colors that I felt compelled to capture it on canvas. This painting depicts the tranquil seascape. The horizon is clear and straight, while the sea, in various shades of blue, stretches from the shore into the depths of the picture plane.
