About this artwork
In this work I wanted to capture a moment that, in reality, is fleeting.
Black and white, light and shadow chasing each other like racing thoughts.
It is a vision in rapid motion, a passage that leaves only an echo: the outline of a bridge, a distant glow, a trail of movement dissolving into the air.
I don't represent, but suggest. I let matter and light meet on the canvas like two breaths touching.
Light is both presence and bewilderment, a… point of reference that gets lost in the rush.
I paint what is seen for a moment, and immediately after it no longer exists.
