About this artwork
That morning I felt light, carefree and even the colors accompanied me in that state of mind and that is what the work wants to give.
This work is part of the abstract essentialism series. The essentialist artist's first matter is an initial chaos (graphic, chromatic, structural stimuli, etc.), the creation favors intuition as a form of knowledge and the process as a practical exercise of freedom. For some years I have been following this pictorial… current, born in Argentina in the 80s by the masters Heriberto Zorrilla and Helena Distefano with whom I attended a course in Barcelona.
Even in this work I did not start from a previous project. The work was born starting from intuitive choices that allowed me to find plastic elements linked to the completeness of the work.
I was born in Buenos Aires and lived in Patagonia until 1993. Following in the footsteps of my mother, an art teacher and painter, I have loved artistic expression in all its forms since I was a child. Since 1993, I have lived in Italy, in the province of Perugia. I have a degree in History and a European Professional Diploma as an Interior Decorator. I specialized in majolica decoration with the master Romano Ranieri and worked for many years in the field of artistic ceramics. For several years, I have been following the Essentialist painting movement, which originated in Argentina in the 1980s thanks to the masters Heriberto Zorrilla and Helena Distefano, with whom I attended a course in Barcelona.
