The stripes seem to let the flowers burst out of the canvas, it makes the painting very lively and energetic.
In spring I have the feeling that plants and trees can't wait to grow and blossom, and that is exactly the feeling I want to express with this painting.

Silvia Strobos is an award-winning artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Switzerland, the United States, Germany, Belgium, and France. The central theme in her art relates to the different ways in which people are connected to one another. Through her artistic practice, Strobos continuously searches for new ways to visualize human interaction. She creates using acrylics and oils on canvas or Plexiglas.
