In creating this piece, I wanted to capture a raw, introspective moment of solitude. I chose black and white to strip away distraction, focusing on the play of light and shadows, which mirrors the complexity of human emotions. Standing at the window, the figure symbolizes the longing for the outside world while confronting the confines of personal space. It invites viewers to reflect on their own moments of solitude… and the subtle interplay between light and darkness in their lives. This artwork will bring a sense of deep contemplation and timeless beauty to any home.
