Sim Chan is an exciting painter from Hong Kong who has exhibited his work in Italy, China and South Korea. One the one hand he explores urban architecture and ideas of the city, and on the other he focuses on investigating the form of expression itself. He uses painting to think about the relationship between him and the situation at play, and presents the creative process as exploring and rethinking imagination and reality, accessing a place between consciousness and form.
