Simay Keles is an abstract painter who's art overall deals with the balance between "change" and "constant". The visual language of her works is changing depending on the series, which creates an eclectic view in total but maintaining the harmony of the colors as a constant value. Her layered paintings mainly consist of oil and acrylic paints. Without underneath sketches, the different layers serve as a sketch for the next one whilst leaving them all partly visible for the viewer.
