About this artwork
This piece depicts a golden Darth Vader mask in a clear plastic carrier bag. The dark, sinister villain is transformed into something much more palatable and potentially precious merely by changing the colour. The title, 'Enormous Charm', refers both to the object's appearance as a gigantic trinket that one may see on a charm bracelet but also to the allure of a golden object recently purchased.

Simon Monk is a painter who resides in the United Kingdom and has exhibited in Canada, the United States, Switzerland, France, Australia, and the UK.
