About this artwork
The early morning observation of seagulls preening at the waters edge of a low tide just as the sun comes up. It was remarkably quiet. As the day wears on, so does the levels of noise and the calmness disappears with all the hullabaloo of a commercial beach in high season.

His primary medium is oil painting, and he takes inspiration from the natural world- particularly marine and aquatic environments- and is fascinated by species, ecologies and habitats.
