About this artwork
I played with the colors of the dawn of Vesuvius, when the city has yet to awaken and the sun that is about to rise reflects its colors on the sea and in the clouds.

« My paintings will enter the hearts of those who will appreciate my unmistakable traits. »
Simona Occhiuzzi believes that we can live in harmony in a world full of contrasts while respecting diversity. For her, it is through colors (ie. the differences) that keep us united in a cosmic balance. In Occhiuzzi's paintings, she translates raw emotion through lights, shadows, and colors. Her bold landscapes and cityscapes are created using acrylics on canvas.
