About this artwork
With my pictures I want to bring the beauty of nature into people's homes. I want to encourage them to reconnect with it. To encourage them to think and to wander into the distance. With my motifs of fauna and flora from all over the world, which are full of energy, color and expression, I already decorate many walls of enthusiastic collectors. My motifs are inspired by numerous trips around the world. I particularly like to express my passion and… love for the animal world of Africa in paintings. The picture "High Speed" is inspired by the sight and contact with cheetahs in the African savannahs. I projected their elegant stature and the fact that they are the fastest land mammals in the world onto the canvas in a graceful, cat-like way. The contrast between the light-colored big cat and the black background highlights the elegance of the big cat. The picture is framed in a natural-colored shadow gap frame made of beech.
Simone Platt, an exceptional artist who brings her passion for nature and animals to canvas. Simone discovered her love of art at a young age and has honed her skills and unique style by studying at the University of the Arts London. Her works are characterized by an endless spirit of experimentation and a deep connection to nature and Africa. Each work is an ode to the living, with vibrant colors that seem to flow directly from Simone's imagination. Simone Platt works primarily in acrylic, gold leaf, spray paint and oil pastels. Her work is full of energy and spirit, forging a delicate yet powerful connection between the viewer and the beauty of nature.
