Slobodan Timchevski is a Macedonian painter who has exhibited nationally as well as in Germany and Slovenia. His art yields an abstract-associative expression through reduction of the form. However, not all elements are abstract, noticeable human, animal and plant components are ever-present through contours and forms. Timchevski’s use of decorative elements on homogenous painted canvases speaks to the dynamic rhythm of a language expressed through colour.
