Dahab is a small village in Egypt, on the Sinai peninsula. Its very quiet and peaceful. It feels as though time has stopped and nothing else, outside your view is real. Time has also stoped for many other things. Among them are these abandoned, concrete monsters, which still guard the shores and stare back out on trespassers with emptiness

Sofia Albee is a painter, photographer, and draftsman who has exhibited her works nationally, as well as in Bulgaria and the United States. She describes her art as being tightly connected to nature, and enjoys creating outdoors. The discovery of sounds, colors, tastes, and feelings, plays a large part in her inspiration. In her artistic process, Albee endeavors to disconnect and dissolve her human side, as she quietly observes and absorbs nature.
