About this artwork
A large lake in the center of the landscape creates a large blue spot, and life explodes along its perimeter. A she-wolf is nursing her babies, on the opposite side there are panties, large and small, which make us realize the closeness of a child with his mother. All the material of the work is in contrast, the mountains that pervade the environment are material, they show the body of the oil color and the pigments dispersed in it, the trees have…
barks created in watercolor, so that the overlapping of the layers of color create new pictorial and decorative effects. Also on the barks and small plants there are areas colored with pastels and chalks, which generate a new dusty and opaque texture. Through the use of these different techniques the surface of the work inspires different visual and tactile sensations in contrast to each other, the softness of the oil, the woolly mark of the plaster and the transparency of the watercolor.
