About this artwork
At the edges of roads, ring roads, state and highways there are always crushed animals: mice, nutria, squirrels, foxes, dogs and cats. Sometimes you also see some abandoned chicken, crushed on the side of the road because the poultry transport trucks have made a curve too sharply and one of them finds himself splashing out to end up on the roadside like garbage. All these little corpses remain there, without respect, without mercy, with the entrails… that come out and flatten on the asphalt, getting more and more disintegrating, machine after machine. Sometimes I feel like a "FALLING MOUSE SKIN", out of any food and social chain, out of the world, out of the production cycle, left on the side of the road ignored and crushed continuously without respect. In this work next to the mouse skin I designed the constellation of my zodiac sign, as if to remind me that I am that mouse
« He who works with his hands is a worker, he who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands, his head, and his heart is an artist. »
