About this artwork
After training is the first of my works on swimming. Born as a composition studio, it actually pushed me to reconsider the tools of my artistic research still in its embryonic stage. I was looking for a suitable subject to express the idea of disorder and confusion, both for technical issues and for personal identification in the work, and at the end of a workout I lingered to look at the pool plan, almost by chance finding the answer to my requests:…
from there came the spark that led me to give life to the Pools series.
