About this artwork
"Timelines" has become a series that comes from an artwork that was first created in April 2020, after the firsts lockdowns.
It was born when the world "stopped" for the first time and the perception of time in our daily routines changed.

« There is beauty in honest expression, there is simplicity, strength, and balance. »
Sofia Zolezzi is an award-winning artist based in Chile who has exhibited her paintings in Austria and Italy. Her art is an honest expression through lines and brushstrokes. Zolezzi investigates movement, which varies in rhythm and speed. The overlapping layers in her abstract-expressionist compositions "fight to stand out in this dialogue". Creating in an intuitive manner, her pieces are made primarily using acrylics mixed with charcoal, graphite, oils, and pastels on canvas or paper.
