April 2020 - At home. Time is being (or always has been) relative to our experiences. Some people may feel that now have much more time available, others feel that days are longer and time goes slow, or on the contrary, that there is not enough time for things they used to do before. It is about perspective and experience, but there is a strong common feeling that time has stopped somehow in our lives. Time used to "fly" in a crazy non-stop world…
and now it becomes more conscious, more present. "Timelines" represents those different experiences about time these days, being forced to slow down, get perspective, observe where we are and where do we want to go

Sofia Zolezzi is an award-winning artist based in Chile who has exhibited her paintings in Austria and Italy. Her art is an honest expression through lines and brushstrokes. Zolezzi investigates movement, which varies in rhythm and speed. The overlapping layers in her abstract-expressionist compositions "fight to stand out in this dialogue". Creating in an intuitive manner, her pieces are made primarily using acrylics mixed with charcoal, graphite, oils, and pastels on canvas or paper.
