In "Two Moons," I traverse the silent dialogue between the conscious and the subconscious realms. This acrylic on board piece is an homage to the layered complexities of the human psyche.
The dual moons that illuminate the darkened sky above are celestial guardians overseeing this internal cosmos. They represent the dual nature of our reality – the seen and unseen, the evident and the obscure. Each lunar body is a metaphor for the dichotomy within… us, the balance of light and shadow that composes our inner worlds.
"Two Moons" is an invitation to the viewer to ponder the unfathomable layers of their own minds, to acknowledge the existence of a universe within that is as complex and profound as the one that sprawls infinitely outward. It's a visual narrative of introspection, an acknowledgment of the two moons that govern our internal tides – the conscious and the subconscious.
