About this artwork
Athena – Blue Vision – Greek Temple of Paestum (5th century BC). In this work, the iconic Greek temple is transformed into a ghostly presence through a play of transparencies: the atmosphere not only envelops it but permeates and flows through it. I move once again along the boundaries: between day and night, life and death, past and present, and stage a situation in which the figure of the temple functions as a link between two different dimensions…

In this work, I have captured the atmosphere of ancient grandeur with pastel colors, a space hovering between reality and dream. Timelessness and the spirit of bygone cultures. I wanted to make the quiet energy and yearning for knowledge visible through this transparency.
