About this artwork
Sun•Rock•Glow Series. "Cacti Bathing" is an abstract landscape about being in the moment in nature and quieting the mind.
Metaphysical intention: Peace. Stillness lives in nature's corners and is the best soother of our nervous system, slowing our breath, and returning us to the simple truth of 'be here now.'

Credentials
- Works on commission
Sonja Picard is a multi-dimensional artist from Vancouver whose work is collected and cherished worldwide. Her work is deeply influenced by over 35 years of studying yogic philosophy, mysticism, spirituality, and the profound resilience of the human spirit. Sonja explores themes of transformation, intention, emotional healing, and empowerment.
Sonja's paintings, like her jewelry, are layered with meaning and subtle messages that reveal themselves over time. The work is richly textured and often incorporates symbolic elements that are both personal and universal, inviting a deeper sense of reflection and resonance. Sonja hopes her work serves as a visual reminder of resilience, love, and the boundless capacity we each have for growth and transformation. Ultimately, her intention is to create art that speaks to the heart, offering inspiration, connection, and a call to live with greater purpose and presence. Visit my insta: @sonjapicardfineart
