Sonja Weissmann is a German painter who has been living and working in Berlin since 2015. She has studied at the prestigious Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, as the Meisterschüler of the Scottish artist, Peter Doig and completed her postgraduate degree at the Royal Academy Schools in London. Her elusive works sit on the boundary between painting and illustration.
