The Greeks and Romans used yellow pigment extensively in their art to reference solar dieties. In South East Asia, yellow was considered a colour reserved… only for those of high or royal status, believed to denote one's proximity to the powerful sun. A yellow car may not be a solar deity's chariot but if it happens to be a Bugatti Chiron, the sight of it will certainly leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside.
