About this artwork
the starting point of OCEAN 2 is an image of the Maldives islands, with this particular turquoise blue which surrounds the islands and in the background the deep blue of the ocean. Using the textile as a canvas, I embroidered the word “OCEAN” to evoke depth and serenity; The blue tones evoke the changing shades of the sea, inviting contemplation and tranquility
