My work, crafted with ardor, combines acrylic, gouache and felt-tip pen in a semi-abstract movement on paper. Stéphane Cattaneo is an experienced painter and draftsman based in France whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in the United States and Scotland. Through his art, he endeavors to bring the world "some consolation for the pain of existing", without trying to convey anything other than his perception of beauty. Cattaneo's artistic process is marked by improvisation, creating according to rhythms and patterns that are very much related to music.
