About this artwork
Acrylic and posca on canvas. Original creation painted by hand without the use of stencils. This painting represents a couple kissing on the Arcachon basin. In the background, we can make out the Pilat dune. The words "Arcachon France" are superimposed on the subjects and are treated like a torn poster.

STAN is a French artist whose paintings have been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions nationally. His vibrant compositions convey STAN's pronounced taste for the worlds of the 1950s and 1970s, both culturally and aesthetically. All of his pieces are made using acrylics, markers, and felt on canvas. Despite the visual effects portrayed, STAN never uses stencils in his art.
