About this artwork
For this work, STAN opted for a wilder, rawer technique. Less refined lines, more material, all of this gives this canvas an assertive character. Pop art in its purest form.
This painting, similar to a Panini sticker from the 70s, represents the portrait of the French actor Jean Rochefort as a football player .... so Frenchy !!!
Original hand painted canvas.
Single copy.

Credentials
- Art Fair Participant
STAN is a French artist whose paintings have been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions nationally. His vibrant compositions convey STAN's pronounced taste for the worlds of the 1950s and 1970s, both culturally and aesthetically. All of his pieces are made using acrylics, markers, and felt on canvas. Despite the visual effects portrayed, STAN never uses stencils in his art.
