Modern Prometheus reframes classical mythology through a contemporary, matriarchal lens. Traditionally celebrated as the titan who brought fire and knowledge to humanity, Prometheus is reimagined here as a woman—honoring womanhood as the true vessel of progress, creation, and transformative energy.
The foundation of the painting rests on an indexical process: the direct physical imprint of a live model created using body paint. This tactile layer… captures authentic human presence and raw energy directly onto the canvas.
