Stas Royze is a Russian painter who has exhibited in St. Petersburg and Moscow. One of the main themes in his works is the quest for knowledge beyond ordinary reality, as well as the root causes of the origins of it all. Royze style could be classified as abstract, but he does not limit himself to the rigidity of labels and often combines elements of figurative painting into his works. He works with oils and acrylics on paper or canvas.
