About this artwork
In this painting, I present a carefully composed selection of plants from my living room. I deliberately arranged each element to create a balanced composition, focusing on form, rhythm, and spatial relationships.
I painted the plants with attention to subtle tonal shifts and color variations, giving them a quiet sense of presence. In contrast, I simplified the background into a more abstract, warm yellow field, almost like sunlight entering the… room, to create warmth and let the subject stand out clearly.
The contrast between the warm yellow and the cooler blue surface enhances the atmosphere of a calm, inviting interior. I aim to balance observation and interpretation: recognizable in subject, yet painterly in execution.
With this piece, I bring the presence of greenery into an interior—without the need for care, yet with a lasting visual impact.
