About this artwork
In this diptych, I juxtapose two contrasting visual worlds. Bright, understated areas meet deep black, while vibrant pink appears in both works like an emotional impulse. Silver sections capture the light and change their effect depending on the viewing angle. They connect the two halves of the image in a delicate, almost floating way.
Here I explore contrasts that, for me, are inseparable: closeness and distance, strength and vulnerability, tranquility… and inner tension. The first part opens more towards light, while the second foregrounds darkness. The silver acts as a transition between these poles, amplifying the depth and the refined, cool aura of the series.
It is precisely in the interplay between the two that the true meaning of duality arises for me.
The diptych consists of two canvases, each measuring 30 × 30 cm. Together, they create an overall effect of approximately 60 × 30 cm.

Each painting is a handcrafted, unique work intended to invite the viewer to pause, allow their own thoughts to flow, and rediscover something personal within the art.
