About this artwork
In this six-part series, I work with reduction, rhythm, and a very clear, refined visual language. Black, white, and gold meet in a calm, focused composition, in which each individual image carries its own gesture while remaining part of a larger context. The forms appear like fragile floral symbols or memories that are only hinted at, and it is precisely through this that they unfold their tension.
What particularly interests me here is how repetition… and variation can combine to create a powerful presence. Each piece stands on its own, but it is only in their interplay that this quiet, luxurious effect emerges, where contrast, emptiness, and delicate gold accents interact. In this way, the series develops a timeless elegance that is understated and gains a special depth precisely from this restraint.
I am a self-taught painter and work intuitively, freely, and strongly in the moment. Music, movement, and emotional impulses accompany my painting process and flow directly into my visual language. In my work, I am interested in contrasts, layers, rhythmic structures, and the connection between inner experience and organic form. I work primarily with acrylics on canvas. My works move between abstraction and the echo of nature and invite viewers to rediscover their own memories, feelings, and moods within them.
Materials & Technique: Acrylic on canvas, built up in a free, intuitive painting style. The surfaces are created through layering, gestural marks, soft transitions and dense areas of color.
