About this artwork
In this work, I combine floral lightness with a free, almost sketch-like visual language. I am drawn to the interplay of delicate whites, warm oranges, and the vibrant expanse of green and pink, because it creates a tension between tranquility and energy. I am a self-taught painter and work intuitively, freely, and strongly in the moment. Music, movement, and emotional impulses accompany my painting process and flow directly into my visual language. In my work, I am interested in contrasts, layers, rhythmic structures, and the connection between inner experience and organic form. I work primarily with acrylics on canvas. My works move between abstraction and the echo of nature and invite viewers to rediscover their own memories, feelings, and moods within them.
