About this artwork
In “Parts,” two states meet: harmony and divergence.
There are parts in us that are able to look at one another — to hear each other, to cooperate, to form an inner alliance. But there are also parts that turn away, move in different directions, as if speaking different languages. And this is precisely where its strength lies: the image does not judge. It diagnoses.
This work functions like a chameleon. It changes depending on you and on the day… you look at it. One day you may see closeness and calm; another day, tension, overload, or a hidden conflict. You can treat it as an inner barometer:
Am I integrated?
Are my parts in contact with one another?
Do they look at each other, or do they move away in different directions?
What you see will often tell you more about yourself than what you are able to put into words at that moment.
Stefania Fiedler is a painter and interdisciplinary artist from Uzbekistan, now based in Poland, working primarily in painting - acrylic and watercolor, with a rich academic background from the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznań. Currently PhD candidate at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She employs expressive, sometimes chaotic––yet structured––techniques, blending expressionism with meditative daily sketches, and often experimenting with other materials within her installations. Her art acts as a portal to the subconscious, seeking to materialize inner emotions and invite deep reflection, ultimately conveying transformation, self-inquiry, and the nourishment of the soul through creativity. Alongside her artistic practice, she works in social art and creative education. What matters most to her is creating spaces in which each person can discover their own creative potential and reconnect with the Artist within.
