About this artwork
This painting explores inner consciousness as a living process — one that continuously rearranges the subpersonalities within us. Some parts come forward and become more useful, others fade into the background, remaining like shadows.
The image reflects a subtle reorganization of the self, where nothing is rejected, yet not everything holds the same weight. Certain inner figures gain clarity and accuracy, while others stay indistinct, half-seen,… existing on the edge of awareness. The painting captures this dynamic state rather than a fixed identity.
Each artwork is accompanied by a dedicated exercise designed to support consciousness development and self-growth. These practices invite the viewer to move beyond observation into experience — to notice which inner parts are active, which are silent, and how they relate to one another in the present moment.
The painting becomes not only an image, but a tool: a quiet guide for self-reflection, awareness, and inner transformation.
Stefania Fiedler is a painter and interdisciplinary artist from Uzbekistan, now based in Poland, working primarily in painting - acrylic and watercolor, with a rich academic background from the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznań. Currently PhD candidate at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She employs expressive, sometimes chaotic––yet structured––techniques, blending expressionism with meditative daily sketches, and often experimenting with other materials within her installations. Her art acts as a portal to the subconscious, seeking to materialize inner emotions and invite deep reflection, ultimately conveying transformation, self-inquiry, and the nourishment of the soul through creativity. Alongside her artistic practice, she works in social art and creative education. What matters most to her is creating spaces in which each person can discover their own creative potential and reconnect with the Artist within.
