About this artwork
In my work, I used acrylics and oils to capture an intimate union between a human figure and a dog. I embraced figurative style, impressionism and pop art to infuse life and symbolism. The essence of the painting is that of harmony and peace, evoking the unconditional love and comfort that animals provide. By bringing this work home, you inject a feeling of tenderness and calming energy into the environment.

Stefania Ormas is an award-winning artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Spain and Belgium. Her figurative works, which oscilate between realism and pop art, are representations of women, in all their facets. Some of Ormas' pieces are a denunciation of contemporary society. Whereas her florals, or depicions of cacti, are an attempt to reconcile herself with her homeland.
