Stefania Zoppellaro is an Italian ceramic artist who has transformed the Raku technique into a personal expressive language. Raised in a family of painters and ceramists and trained in the Veneto ceramics district, she has developed a research focused on color, material, and the dialogue between control and unpredictability. Each piece is entirely hand-sculpted, without the use of molds or lathes, and arises from experimentation with reactive glazes, metallic oxides, and silver nitrate, which generate craquelure, iridescent reflections, and unique chromatic variations. In her work, color is not simply applied, but reveals itself through the Raku process, in which fire becomes an element of transformation. Her works, which range from wall sculptures to design objects and contemporary sacred art, evoke energy, balance, and hope, proposing an original synthesis of artisanal tradition, artistic research, and contemporary sensibility.
