Deconstructing the ritual of consumption to reveal the brutal density of a half-king without any more pretenses.
With this work, I wanted to capture an explosion of playful energy and vibrant colors, typical of pop art, using acrylic with dense, dynamic brushstrokes. The figure is divided in half, not physically, but by the thought and desire for the object beside it.
He wants it even though he knows that… he will surely do harm once he is captured.
This work is made with acrylic, the dragging technique and the work with the spatula which gives attention to detail.
