The rebellion in particular the war events have always been themes highly appreciated by artists in the history of art.
Noting the critical historical period that we are experiencing, "Mutation" is a work that comes from the artist's strong desire for rebellion and subversion of social roles.
Textured and dense brushstrokes characterize the bodies of the protagonists of the war, while in the upper part a blue sky full of changes dominates the background.… It is a painting as well as a social denunciation related to the past, it is also full of allegorical symbols such as: skull (death), flowers in a portion of the meadow (nature / life), horse (nature), miter (weapons / war). Furthermore, the references in the faces to African masks are explicit and therefore continuous struggles / wars for the power of man are evoked.
