About this artwork
This work shows the successful attempt to rust a canvas. To do this, the artist evenly sprinkled metal shavings on the stretched canvas and wetted it several times with water. Gradually, a stable, load-bearing rust layer developed. In contrast, he set a different textile size. Both meet and there is an encounter that becomes visible through drappery. The source of inspiration was stacked rusty steel plates and their palpable aesthetics.
