With this oil painting, I wanted to capture the magic of the moment when light breaks through dark clouds and everything comes alive. The figure by the sea symbolizes the search for beauty in the everyday. The powerful rays and realistic depiction create an atmosphere full of hope and wonder – an invitation to rediscover the magic of nature time and again. The painting is an homage to Caspar Friedrich's "Moonrise by the Sea".
