My painting titled Lost and Found is my quest to create a new world for people of the black race, I begin to imagine a world where Africans rule, a world where Africans are kings and queens, a world where we are leaders and rulers, a world where we set the pace, a world where we are seen as royalties. faceless which was my way of depicting lost and identity crisis which has always been a dominant theme in my works as it's a conscious effort to expose and reveal the new-world to foresee the future of our new generation, to criticize also rewrite history as Identity and lost are the major themes of my work as I try to touch on these issues using newsprint to make social commentary with phrases like "lost and found" and "visions" and newspaper and fabrics as blend to idealize culture clash and cultural syncretism.

Stephen Aifegha is an award-winning African artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. He describes the subject matter and narrative of his works as centering on historical, social, and cultural issues that concern Africa, with regards to "cultural syncretism, identity issues, culture clash, and pride". Aifegha's art reflects the issues that the continent faces, from pre-colonial to post-colonial history, referencing the challenges and setbacks that remain because of it, in Africa to this day.
