About this artwork
Liminality. 36”x36” Mixed media on polyester. This piece must have been meant to be finished at this exact point in my studio journey. I didn’t realize until my eyes got stuck staring at the blue like an ocean horizon, like two minutes of silence at a beautiful beach sunset when everything else disappears. When thinking of a title to describe this feeling “Liminality” came up as a metaphor for a state of transition with the sunset, but also is the…
