About this artwork
In this painting I illustrated two incidences where Jesus used Old Testament events, to illustrate His mission to go to the cross to put the power of sin to death.
The left side of the painting, Jesus told a religious, that just as the serpent was lifted up in the desert, so will the son of man be lifted up, and draw all men to Himself.
Right side of the painting, Jesus tell a group of religious leaders who were pressing for a sign, that is message… was from God. Her said, that just as Noah was in the belly of the great fish for three days, before God had the fish deliver him alive to the shore. So, will He be in the bowl of the Earth for three day, then arise again.
The center of the painting is how John the apostle saw Jesus in a vision, as king, High Priest, Authority over the 7 early churches. This is the vision, Jesus give concerning the 7 last year of the earth, and the new earth and Heaven God is going to create
The cross ties the whole painting together.
