About this artwork
The Window Washer is an ideal example of my ability to allow glue to run across the board freely ... to a limited extent.You can see that in the Window Washer's body, his helmet, and his bucket as well as the window frame that surrounds him. The glue leaves highs and lows as it travels here and there and as additional layers. This is a favorite painting of mine within the Gloil process because I am getting better at managing the process.
Incidentally,… I painted this from a photograph I took of the actual window washer hanging down outside my window eleven stories up. All of the white, turquoise, dark red, and gold standout well above the dark background which I make by combining Viridian, dark blue, and magenta. I hardly ever you pure black.
