About this artwork
At the time this picture was painted - in April 2021, in the midst of the Corona pandemic - it is unlikely that anyone will be travelling to Tunisia on holiday, where this scene originated. Not so many holidaymakers this year will be looking at a sparkling sea, with the sun glinting off the rippling blue waters reflecting a boat at rest in the harbour. That is the bad news. The good news is that probably for less than the price of a trip to Tunisia…
