About this artwork
It would be nice to appoint this cheerful reflection to an exotic location such as Monaco or the Bahamas or Tahiti, but in fact it is in a suburban marina near the artists home in the Netherlands. As a nation the Dutch have a history of epic seafaring, and even today are keen sailors - everyone seems to own a boat of some description. decent painting, takes hours, days, sometimes weeks of patience. It would certainly brighten up that bit of wall above your sideboard. And the artist won't mind a bit if you pretend it is in the Bahamas or Tahiti.

Steve White, a painter based in the Netherlands, has extensively exhibited his works nationally, as well as in the United Kingdom.
