About this artwork
This scene is from one of the nicest hotels on the French Caribbean Island of St. Martin, located in Grand Case. The clay vase empties into a small sitting pool, next to a larger bathing pool. The name of the hotel rhymes with promenade.

« I truly enjoy painting and will let the work speak for itself. »
Steven Fleit is a self-taught photorealist painter who also takes a certain artistic latitude in the creation of his pieces. The American artist explores reflections in architecture, as well as landscapes, cityscapes, and florals in his compositions. Fleit enjoys using a lot of paint and gloss in his works and employs a blending technique which gives each piece a rich and vibrant feeling.
